Seeking info on any Moneys in CA who have roots in KY (back to Maryland) and possibly via Missouri. Wm Money/Nancy Carpenter married 12-27-1827 in Wayne Co KY then moved to Harlan and Knox Co KY. Four sons, Wm., Perry, Bishop, Henry H. and one dtr. Mary Melicia who married Henry Patterson. All four sons and son-in-law in Civil War, Perry being only CSA as he married (Sarah Lorton) and lived in Lee Co. VA; he later served in west with US 5th Infantry. Henry went to Texas Co, Missouri after Civil War with his wife Elizabeth (Marsee) and her family, some of which I believe came to CA. Will share info.
