Looking for any information about the Jones-Kent family from Auburn c 1870 and their descendents. Other Placer county residents:
Bertha Jones Kent
Florence Jones Warham b 1873 Auburn
Alice Maude Jones Sargent b 1885 Applegate
William Jones
George E Jones
Owen R Jones b 1836 Wales
Jane Jones b 1851 Wales
Robert F b Mar 1877
Frank O and sister Daisy Ellen Twins b May 1880
Arthur Jones b Aug 1887
Helen ?? a school teacher from Lincoln abt 1930
These Jones and probably more in Placer county originated in Wales. They migrated probably through Utica, NY middle 1800's where other Jones lived and then settled in Placer County. Several of these Jones ended up in the bay area. I have several lines of Jones to sort through.
