Looking for any info re Joseph S CRANE born 1848-50, married Ella MITCHELL in 1877, died near Auburn, CA (Placer County) 1879-81. Was a station agent for Central Pacific RR in Auburn. Had two children by Ella, James Dugan CRANE born 1878-80 and Hermie CRANE born 1880-81. May have come to CA in gold rush days and may have been Scottish.
