Hi Sheila: According to the CA Death Index Lillian DeVoto died 5 Dec 1967 in San Mateo. It lists her birth as 30 Jan 1901 in WA and lists her mother's maiden name as Fudge. On the 1930 US Federal Census she is on Gough St in San Francisco living with husband Jerome. On the same census, ED 38-334, sheet 6A, pg 183 there are a James and Elizabeth DeVoto living next door and a Jerry and Anna Driscoll living near by which could be parents. Jerome appears in the CA Death Index as born 24 Jan 1901 in CA and dies 21 Nov 1977. On the Social Security Death Index his birth is listed as 1902, and it says he dies in San Jose, Santa Clara Co, CA.
