Request address location in SF. Help please?

My gr gr grandfather, registered as a CA voter in 1868. His address was 1311 Dupont St. I understand this is now Grant St. He was Belgian, a tailor by trade. Was this in Chinatown? What would be the nearest cross-street to the street number? Any maps I have found online do not show block numbers. Will appreciate any help in pin-pointing this address. Thanks, Virginia
