I'm am searching for Silas S. Pierce/Pearce, who I'm hoping will turn out to be the brother of my gggrandfather. Born in Trumbull Co., Ohio about 1825, he was known to have gone to California, but that is all that is known of him except that he married an Amanda Sattan. He was listed in the 1870 Fed. census for San Mateo Co. as living in Woodside. I'm hoping that this Silas S. Pierce is mine. Does anyone have any information about him or where I can find cemetery records? Anything is appreciated.
