I am wondering if anyone migh know where I can find a copy of the obituary for my 2nd Great Grandfather's sister Ada Cora (Brown) Shattinger.
Ada was born July 11, 1862 in Hillsdale County, MI and died May 18. 1940 in Los Altos, Santa Clara County, CA. She married Charles Shattinger September 25, 1889 in St. Louis, MO. Charles was a medical doctor and he died in Los Altos December 13, 1942. The couple had no children.
If anyone has access to newspapers from the area and time period, I would very much appreciate the time it takes for a look up/ I am hoping that since Ada was the wife of what seems to be a prominent doctor, she will have a proper obituary, that may gives clues as to her background.
