I am new at this and finding my past is very important to me. Whether I am descended from some nobility or from some dirty no account thief, it matters not to me. I just want to know who I am & who came before me. My family is not very close & most members really don' t care about the past, but I do. I have been told that my great great grandfather was Juan Caballero, some of his children were/are Andreas from Cambellton,TX, Alberto from Shallowater,TX, Raul from New Home,TX, "Pete" from Ft. Worth,TX and my Grempa Julian. He was born in McCoy, Atascosa County,TX on December 20,1924. He then married my Granny, "Annie" Llamas in George West,TX in the '40's or '50's. We' ve all lived near Lubbock,TX since then. My dad, Julio,Jr. was born in 1956, he married my mom, Oralia Ortega in'76 (same year I was born). My Grempa died here in Lubbock on April 3,1999 and we buried him in Woodrow,TX(just outside of Lubbock,TX) on the 6th. I know my info is very vague but I would appreciate any asisstance in finding my family history.
