I thought the following might be of interest:
The National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Volumes 1-85, 1600s- 1900s, Volume 11, Earlies Missouri Records (continued), Page 59 -- SHOWS--"1766, June 24th. Charles, born yesterday, son of Louis Cabazier or Labazier or Cabassier and Victoire Daume."
This would appear to me to nail down Charles' date of birth. Any thoughts? TY
