I'm hoping I can get some help from my Cabassier cousins. I'm looking to connect the dots on the Tessier family. In my tree I have them marrying into the Cabassier family a couple of times, both in ancillary lines to my direct tree:

Francois Tessier m. Victoire Cabassier6 (Charles5, Louis-Marie4, Charles3, Pierre2, Pierre1)in Indiana January 10, 1820.

Jean-Baptiste Tessier (son of Jean-Baptiste Tessier dit Lavigne and Marie Clemence Bouchard) m. Charlotte Cabassier4 (Charles3, Pierre2, Pierre1) in Montreal, Ile de Montreal, Quebec August 3, 1705.

Just recently I found that my wife is a direct descendant of Marie-Charlotte Tessier (b. February 21, 1723, m. Louis Gelineau February 25, 1805 in Saint-Jean, Lacadie, Quebec, Canada. I am interested in seeing if this Tessier connects to the Tessiers that connect to the Cabassiers. Does anyone have more information on the Tessier lines that might help?
