Nita, yes, Charlotte was married before marrying Jean-Baptiste Tessier. Her first marriage was to Jean Aubert dit Latouche (b. June 24, 1719 Montreal, d. before 1750) m. 1738 in Montreal. Someone that I communicated with regarding Jean-Baptiste indicated that he was married after Charlotte died, but I don't have information as to who she was. It would be very interesting to confirm whether or not Charlotte was also married to Giles Chauvin, she certainly would have been considered old (26 years) for a first marriage when she married Jean Aubert dit Latouche.
