I will hold judgement until we have had a chance to do more documentation, but I have a different theory. I found a marriage between Antoine Cabassier and Mary Lemay (Marie Archange Lemay) 3 NOV 1801 in St. Claire County, Illinois. Further research on LDS site shows her to be the Sister of Marguerite Lemay the Wife of Jean-Baptist Sansouci Sr. If this turns out to be true, Mary Archange Napoleon Cabbassier married her 1st cousin Jean-Baptist Sansouci Jr. I still have not been able to find Mary Archange Napoleon Cabbassier's Birth place but if she was the 1st child as you suggest we should be looking in Illinois.
