Am interested in gaining any information someone out there might have on Michel Cabazie, son of Pierre Cabazie (1641-1715) and Jeanne Guiberge (1655-1728). I have that Michel was born in Montreal on July 14, 1680 and died in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 4, 1725 (I don't know if that death information is accurate). I have that he married Marie-Teresa DuPre on February 22, 1725 in New Orleans. Am interested in learning about when he went to New Orleans (if in fact he did) and what were the circumstances of his going there. I am descended from his brother Charles. Any additional information would be helpful.
