My mother was Kathleen Cabbage and is descended from John Cabbage. The family geneology includes the Stephens family. I have a copy of John's last will and testiment where he mentions the maintenance of Elizabeth. It was signed by a number of people, including Gabriel Tucker. He owned an extensive piece of proprty around Knob Creek, Kentucky. I have the family bible which is very old and made of thick leather. The geneolgy is missing from it as are some other pages. However, I am sure it is at least 150 years old. My mother gave it to me, but was unsure of it's origins. She said it had been in the family for generations.
