Hi Marlene,
Sorry but I have not been on line recently for genealogy work.

My hypothesis is that Margaret is a sister to James William (b. Dec 25, 1825 in Indiana d. Sept 27, 1876 Keokuk County Iowa, buried in Knox County, Illinois).

Have a weak link, but getting a bit stronger these days! James William, Margaret Ann, Thurza Rachel (Widner), Polly (Seeds), Furney, Dennis, Abel P., Edmond Philip, Rebecca, and Susan (Fry) are all siblings if I am right. And they are children of Matthew Condreay and Rebecca Adamson. (an index says Anderson, but the original bond is Adamson) Rebecca is likely the dau of Enos Adamson and Mary/Polly Love but no solid link yet. But she clearly connects with the Adamsons in the Grainger/Jefferson County TN area.

Need more proof to be exactly sure. But one thing they ahve in common is magration patterns. They are all in Grainger County TN, Vigo County IN, Knox and Henry County IL, and Keokuk County IA at similar times. They lived near one another, etc. Matthew Condreay died in Knox County IL in 1841 shortly after arriving from a long time in Vigo County IN. James William died in Keokuk COunty in 1876, after leaving in 1875 from Knox County, where he had been since 1840.

Margaret and Arnold supposed to be married in Vigo County (have found no record, though) and at least Phebe was born there. Arnold and Margaret from Grainger County TN.

The more I find, the more confident I am that Margaret is the sister to James William (my ggfther) and they are children of Matthew and Rebecca.

Glad to share with you what I have dug up-with the help of other researchers!!
