Thanks for the response, we Cabe/McCabes descendents have discovered that most of us are linked. I think some of our ancestor's decided to drop the Mc, or it could be that the census takers just let it off. Most materials refer to the descendents of _________ Cabe/McCabe or the Genealogy of the ___________Cabe/McCabe. Most of my Cabe/McCabe ancestors were from North Carolina. My cousins went there this past Spring and found the old home place, there is a lot of history there. I plan to go soon for a visit.

What was interesting about my discovery in the Mulberry Cemetery: I was looking for my Formby/Fomby ancestor's. I found them, but was surprised when I came upon the Cabe/McCabe names there.

What other information do you have on your William J. Cabe/McCabe? I would be gald to help if I can.
