Seeking data on the descendents of Mary C.(Loftin) and Damiel B. Cabeen. Mary (17 Nov 1838 - 1888) is the sister William Thomas Loftin (04 Oct 1832 - 08 Nov 1920). William T. is my Greatgrandfather.
Mary C. & William T. Loftin parents are George Burwell Loftin(1805 - aft 1838) and Teresa Mary Bedford (abt 1815 - bef 1854).George and Mary married on 29 April 1831 in Madison County, TN.
George Loftin and family left TN after the birth of Mary C. to claim land given to him and his brother for transporting families Washington County, TX by the Mexican Goverment. Not sure if he died in TX, TN or on the way to TX. Mary Loftin married (2): Joseph Knotts.
Mary C. Cabeen died in Courtney, Grimes County, TX in 1888.
