Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had information on Joseph ROBERTS who died in Henry County in 1778. He mentions 4 children in his will:
John Henry born circa 1770 in Henry County
Joseph
James
Nancy
John Henry married Mary Nancy ADKINS 26 Mar 1804 in Henry County. They moved to West Virginia shortly after marriage.
Their children were:
Nancy Roberts married Ferguson
Elizabeth Roberts, 4 May 1806 married Joseph Salmon
Sarah Roberts married a Mr Bellomy
John Henry Roberts, 12 Apr 1814 married Jane Gilkerson
and two more sons.
Mary ADKINS' parents were
Nicholas ADKINS &
Jane WATSON
