I am descended from Dr. William Cabell through my g. grandmother, Hortense Cabell who married Charles May Fields. This is listed in Cabells and Their Kin. Most of the descendents of Hortense Cabell come from or reside in the Buckingham Country/Amherst County part of Virginia. I would be interested in contact with anyone associated with these people.
