Checked under "Cabell" in my notes- just tidbits but maybe someday they will help connect things for you- Joseph Cabell (1732-98) was a member of the House of Delegates and of the convention, 1775. He commanded a Buckingham regiment of militia at Yorktown, and with him was his son, Joseph, in a company of students from William and Mary college. He was born in Goochland Co., Va, died at Sion Hill, VA. If you look up under Daughters of The American Revolution, as well as Sons of The American Revolution you will find some lineages that you may connect into. Here are two from the DAR: DAR Mem. # 52352 - Mrs. Mary Cabell Dudley. Also Nos. 34, 6662, 13049. DAR Mem. # 52748- Miss Susan Abell Johnson. Joseph married Mary Hopkins and they had at least one child (probably others as well) named Joseph Cabell, Jr. He married Pocahontas Rebecca Bolling. She was born in 1766. Joseph Cabell m. P.R. Bolling in 1783. And they had at least two children, B. W. S. Cabell, [ who m. Sally Epps Doswell] and Edward Blair Cabell [who m. Harriet Forbes Monroe]. I wish I could give you more dates but its not my direct line. Good Luck, Kathryn Mero Holmes Lang Notify Administrator about this message?
