Hay Angela, Sorry for the amount of time it took me to respond. I changed my email address and then went to grad school for a couple of years and now I'm in another research stretch. catching up is more of a duty than I expected. Now to Marsden W. Cabell. There was a Marsden Cabell mentioned in Marcia's book. She did not link him to the rest of the family. He is listed in an obit for Isham Cabell. The Cabell book was first published in 1894 and then republished in 1934. The West Virginia Cabell's were not listed in either edition. I cannot address why anyone was not included since I did not write or edit any of the Cabell books. I did contribute a chapter and misc. info. to Marcia's book mainly on the Cabell's from Kanawha and Boone County, WV. If you are from that area I am sorry. believe me I was and am again looking for all the Cabells I can find. If I would have known about your family I would have included them. I know that Marcia would have as well. Please email me and I'll do what I can to help you find your Cabell line. I know it's difficult when parents die while their children are young. They do not have time to pass down family history. My Grandfather Cabell died when I was eleven and he could not communicate the last five years becasue of a stroke. So the last conversation I had with him I was five or six years old. Notify Administrator about this message?
