Cabello surname: need information

I am in the process of doing my genealogy. I can't give any history on the name of Cabello, but maybe the little information I have will help.

I was born in Los Angeles in 1974. The furthest back I can trace the Cabello name in my family is my great-great-grandfather. His name was Manuel Cabello. He was born in Mexico, though I'm not sure where or when. His son, my great-grandfather Mariano Cabello, was born in 1898 in San Juan de Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico.

If anybody has any other information, it would be greatly appreciated.
