HELP!!! I am searching for the parents of John H. Caviness of Granville County b. c. 1815. He married Eliza Clark, daughter of William and Lilly Clark. John and Eliza were both apparently dead by 1845, leaving two children, Henry Y. and Jane, to live with their maternal grandfather, William. An estate record has been found for John but gives no pertinent info. Please, can anyone help me????
