CAVINESSES IN VIRGINIA IN 1700'S-sorting it out
Posted by: Karen Caviness (ID *****7215) Date: October 03, 2002 at 17:23:51

I am looking for a John Cuit Caviness. Any "John" actually in Virginia. There are many Cavinesses (variants of the name) in Virginia in the 1700's. Can anyone sort them out for me? And, any information about the John listed in tithe records in 1760's,70's (Cabonis) is appreciated. John Cuit supposedly was from Halifax, Va. and moved to Moore Co., NC in ca.1799. Who were his brothers?parents?wife?children?
