George Michael Cable was b 1816 in PA. The earliest time I find him is 1855, where he sold 111 acres to David Brown in Ripley Co., IN. Apr 1859, he married Catherine (Lakin) Plummer; widow of Harry Plummer, in Ripley Co., IN. They lived in Center Twp She had 2 daughters, Mary Malvina and Martha Ellen. George Michael and Catherine had 5 children, together: Harden Freeman, Elizabeth,and Nora B.,were born in Center Twp, Ripley Co., IN. William Joseph and Charles Monroe were born in MO. The family left IN sometime after 1865 and prior to 1868 and lived in the Moberly, MO area. George Michael was a farmer and he died 1887,at the family farm 4 miles southwest of Clark, Mo. He is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Higbee, MO.
