Sorry I'm so late replying - My branch of CABLE originates from KEBEL in Forfar, Scotland - and I have much information (much of which has been assembled and researched by a relative - Alan Steel in NZ).

Alexander KEBEL b.22 Dec 1720 m Elizabeth Scott (Forfar)
John CABLE b.12 Oct 1755 d.12 Nov 1831 (Forfar) m Agnes DUNCAN.
John and Agnes had 10 children, some of who went to NZ, S-Africa, and Scandinavia. Details of all these children are available etc etc
