Greetings, I am researching my family history starting with my fraternal grandmother. She was Arvazinnia Josephine (Josie) Cable born in Stecoah, N.C., Dec.27, 1878. She was the youngest child of Adam Mast Cable and Louisa "Jincy" M. Taylor Cable. She had brothers, William G. (I think the G. is for Gilbert) and Abraham- Sisters, Artey M., Juley, and Dixie. I only remember meeting one of her sisters, Aunt Dixie, when I was a small child in the 1940's. Aunt Dixie was married to Jim Crisp. I would appreciate any information on this branch of the family. We are planning a Bateman family reunion in Stecoah next summer and I would love to have more information on this Cable family.
