Hi,
You will find that Alexander Lafayette Cable was the son of my ggg grandfather Claiborn Cable & his wife Charlotte Dugger. Alexander is of the well-known Cable line of Watauga & Ashe Co. NC & Carter Co. TN My line moved on to KY, Wolfe Co. to be exact. Are you related to him? I hope this helps.
