On Rootsweb. com there is a listing from jsandberg@jymis.com who lists this info and a little more. It says Susanna was married to Daniel Cabler (father of Edward's stepchildren). Daniel died in Civil War ("1880 History of Keokuk Co., Iowa") and Susanna married Edward.
I have been looking for info on Edward and Daniel. He is sometimes listed as Edmund due to different interpretations of census handwriting. He is listed in the 1850 census in Bracken Co., Ky: Edward Kabler, 19, b: KY, and is living in the household of Daniel and Lydia Insko. Their daughter, Elizabeth, married Daniel Kabler (a different Daniel Kabler who lived all his life in KY). I would like to know the connection between these Kablers. If you have any other information regarding Kablers, please contact me.
