Honoree,
I have a Frederick Hensley Cabler, b. 1837 (Davidson Co., TN ?) who, in 1858, m. Fredonia Tenessee Stewart, b. 1842 TN. I show the parents of Frederick as John L. Cabler, b. abt 1799, prob Rockingham Co., NC and Mary Ann Corbitt Zackary, b. abt 1814 in TN.
Up to this point, I'm pretty positive about my information as I did almost all the research. Above this point, my data is pieced together from others.
I was told John L. Cabler's father was Harvey Cabler (1755-1830), b. 1755, m. Eleanor _____? He is apparently a brother to Frederick Cabler, 1758, who I show as father of Rachel Cabler, b. 1794 who m. John Corbitt. I'm not at all sure about Harvey as I've never run across his name in my research anyplace.
I have names of several siblings in different generations, but as I said, I'm not positive about the information above John L. Cabler.
Do you have any information on the Cabler's you will share? I'll be glad to send you what I have if it might help you.
