Hi! I am also from Fall River, MA....the daughter of Natalie Souza and Granddaughter of Fransisco J. Souza...I am trying to get info on my Grandfather's family, in Ponta del Garda. His father was Manuel Joe Souza, who immigrated to Canada, while his wife Mary Andrade (my Great-grandmother) remained in Ponta del Garda. My Great-grandfather (Mannuel Joe) died in Canada. My Grandfather (Francisco) made his home in Fall River, but became ill and was never able to send for his mother or siblings...if you can give me any information about Ponta del Garda (like church names or any other info that could possibly help me locate my Grandfather's family), I would appreciate your answer to this email...thecarpenters@wt.net
