My Great Grandfather was Frank Cackler. He was born in Sept. of 1887. I do not know where he was born. He passed away in April of 1973 in Fort Doge Iowa.
He was married to Iva Cackler.They had two daughters Lendora and Deloris. I have no futher information.
But I thought I would give this a try ,I see allot of posts about Iowa. One more thing,I have been told that Frank Cackler was part Indian but I don't from which I heard Sioux and Cherokee but things get confused and people forget.
Any help would be apreciated.
