Bill Brinegar sent a copy of a picture of the supposed "Nancy Cackler". My views are entirely mine. There are many Farley descendants who believe in the Cackler/Cornstalk legend. As a genealogist, I need evidence/documentation. What I have determined: 1. Copy of copy of a tin-type. Tin-types were common from until 1860. 2. The subject is a Caucasian aged 50-60, the right side of her face sags, maybe she had a stroke. I would tentatively identify her as Mary (Cackler) Farley. The dates fit, she died 1850's. -- Clint
