Cackler Family Genealogy Forum

Clint, since our last phone discussion, I have talked with the Shawnee Remamant Tribe Story Teller after sending him a picture of Nancy Cackler. He told me that the picture was of and Indian Lady in her mid to late 70's which could put her in the time frame of the 1774's to 1780's. I have also contacted a Virgie Price in Ohio who had a genealogist do the Farley tree which includes the Cacklers. I have the book coming. Today I contacted relatives in W.Va. who told me that Nancy Cackler may have been a slave to either the Cackler or Farley families. This could explain why she is not in either the Cackler or Farley trees. I have several relatives tracing down the story. Everyone has the picture that I sent to you. When I find the facts, you will be the first to see them. Many strange things happened during those times. Do you know what Christian Cackler Sr's brothers were doing when Christian came to Ohio in 1804? People were moving about like bees on a honey comb speculating land and making claims. I look forward to hearing from you. Harold Brinegar wwbrinegar@cs.com
