Terry, Happy to have received your reply. It is late & here I am with out my glasses again. Just came in the den to turn off my computer.
I have six grown children. Three boys & three girls. The oldest is 43yrs & so is his wife. At 42 yrs they had their first child, & my first granddaughter. My middle son & wife have three boys, 11yrs, 7 yrs, 3 yrs. All involved in school projects, playing hockey, & music. I have spend many nights with them & enjoyed going with them to all their activities. My middle daughter has her first child a boy just 2yrs. my daughter went back to teaching high school-so I take care of him on Fridays. My youngest son & wife of 5 yrs are expecting their first child in April. My oldest & youngest daughters are not married. They have started later having their families.
I leave Thursday & come home Sunday going from one house to the other. My children are all at least an hour away from me. They tease me now that another baby is on the way that I should get a little motor home & just go from one to the other. I love it BUT I love genealogy for the last 20 maybe it has been 25 yrs now.
Still get together with my old friends from school.
Terry Now that you know how much time I have home & I still take care of business I worked for the Federal gov. for a while after my children were older.
I have been so lucky to connect with my genealogy families. It takes so much time. I have a scanner & am sure it must be easy to use -just have not found the time . I need to have back surgery so that will slow me down & I can learn to use the scanner & be able to enter more of my family info & pictures on the computer.
If you need something from St. Paul's send me the names & what you want. Afer the holdays before I go into the hospital I will go & look up your records.
They are more than happy to bring the books up to a room where you can sit all day if you want & look through them. I have wanted to do more research on the Paye(e)'s . My grandmother, Sophia 's mother was Frances Cadieux daughter of Charles Cadieux & Matilda Paye from St. Paul's.
Let me know when you come to MI & maybe we can spend a day researching our French ancestors. I try to make some of the meetings for French-Canadidan Heritage Society of MI also get over to Canada to Belle River, not far about an hour from home. They have a great deal of archival material at their genealogy library over their church,
Well get your list together never can tell when I will have a free afternoon to get to St. Paul's. Bye for now Valerie
