I am native american and my family name is Cadue. I was told that my great great great grandfather was french. He had a summer wife and a winter wife to which one was native american. Going back in our tribal records we have the spelling as Cadjeux. Of course this spelling could be wrong. The Cadue name is on my grandfathers side and he was full blooded native american. His tribe is the Kickapoo nation. The reservation he grew up on is in Kansas, USA. I hope I'm on the right track here and this helps somebody.
