Could this also be spelled " CAILLET " ?
There are many ways to spell this name , and
that is only if I am pronouncing it right.
Callier, Caillier......and so on.
We where taught to say it as such :
KI - Yay ( That is with a long "I"
after the K and a long A in " Yay " ) So this is how we pronounce my mother's maiden name. CAILLET
or ( KI-YAY )
I am Martha and my mother was a CAILLET, Caille, from St. Charles Parish,Louisiana and lived in Hahnville, Louisiana before marrying. She married a Walter E. Millet from Montz, La and then moved to Norco, Louisiana. My mothers mother was Denise Marie Waguespack who married Cyril Antoine Caillet. ( there are records that show her
name as Marie Denise Waguespack ) Denise Waguespacks parents were : FATHER: Victor
Lovincie Waguespack and MOTHER : Octavie Robert. Marie Denise Waguespack was born :
October 04, 1889.
