Clare, I am interested in exchanging information about our early ancestors. I have found references to Cailey's in Ireland and on the Isle of Mann circa 1720. My branch emigrated to the United States, or the Colonies if you prefer prior to the Revolutionary War/ War of Insurrection, depending on where you live. They were among early inhabitants of Virginia, USA and migrated west to Ohio, Illinois, California also Ohio to Florida. Now of course, we are scattered.
