My Cailey family settled in Ohio in the early to mid 1800's, having relocated from Shenandoah, Virginia where the men were cabinet makers. Ggg-gf Frederick Cailey died when my gg-gf, John L. Cailey, born 1842 in Linden, Ohio, was 3 months old. He migrated to Champaign County, Illinois before 1850 with gggg-gf Augustus Frederick Parrot and ggg-gm Eliza Parrot and 2nd husband, David Clausen. Searching for more information about John L. siblings. There are also Cailey's from the same time period in Florida. I will watch for Catherine.
