I have Robert Cakebread, born 1808 Bloxham, same marriage details. It looks like he may link in with Dennis Cakebread's family tree:

According to the information I have, Robert moved to Foleshill, near Coventry. He shows up in a list of Oxfordshire strays from the 1851 census:

Robert's son, Robert (b. 1838) went to California, where there are many Cakebreads today descended from him.

No connection with my own family as far as I can tell.

Mick.

can anybody help?
