Father of Hercules Calcott

Thanks to the information from Helen Colquitt regarding The Calcott/Colquitt family connection, we have a lead back in time to the Isle of Man.
This island is one of the British Isles and is located in the Irish Sea between Liverpool, England and Dublin, Ireland. It is about 20 miles south of Scotland, and a little northwest of Wales.
Seems our family has always been eager to travel across water.
The Calcott family group lived in the area of Chester, England from 1215 or earlier, until about the 15th century. At that time some Calcott family members removed from England to the Isle of Man.
This has not been documented by actual copies of records, but gives us a time and location in which to research.
All we need do is find the records of this remarkable group of ancestors. Sincerely, Frances
