Hello, my GGGrandmomther seems to have been a mystery woman. Nobody can be sure, but it seems her maiden name was Calcote or something similar to Calcutta. She was supposedly born in TN circa 1828, and married circa 1846 to Andrew Washington Barr. She was of at least part Native American blood. It is likely she married in TN or MS. Her first child was born in MS circa 1847, and he was named after his paternal grandfather, but her SECOND child was a son born in AR circa 1848-9, and his middle name is a family mystery...it was Pascal...and it is the ONLY time it ever shows up as a name. We have absolutely no idea of the actual date or place of her marriage to Andrew, nor of her actual date or place of birth. Andrew's parents and siblings were originally from GA, but living in MS in 1850, but he and Mary Jane were already in AR by then. Any help will be appreciated. I have data on all of her children and most of their descendants, and am willing to share.
