I recently learned of your book while visiting the library in Brookhaven, Lincoln County, MS. I am in the process of getting my own copy of the book now. I am also African-American and I have been researching families who connect with CALCOTE in the Mississippi counties of Franklin and Lincoln for several years. I am checking with you to see if you are interested in talking about African-Americans whom I believe descend from Hercules CALCOTE through one of his 4th great-granddaughters. If you are opened to such conversation, please provide me with a telephone number and I will give you a call.
