Calcote Family Genealogy Forum

When I was growing up my great-grandmother and grandmother told me of a family of four Emma Calcote, her son Henry Calocte, his wife Dardenella Calcote, and their child Patsy, whom were all murdered by their illegal immigrant worker becuase he fell in love with Henry's wife Daredenella. They were all shot and lived approximately 10 miles north of Eldorado, Texas off of Highway 277. In the Eldorado Cemetary each family member listed above has their own individual headstone, and there is also a large memorial. There deaths recorded are September 5, 1940. The home in which the family lived is still standing as well as a few other buildings, barns, etc.. I hope this is somewhat helpful. I know for sure of the dates and names I can't verify the story but little Texas towns are known for them. Good Luck.
