I've hit a very large brick wall while trying to research my great great grandfather Beaudry's family in Canada.
There are few records with any information but one record does indicate that my great great grandfather's mother was Calcote Lafontaine. To date, I haven't known Calcote to be a given name so I thought that I'd ask anyone on this list whether they have a Calcote family member connected to the Beaudry(or some variation thereof)in Canada during the 1830's and 1840's.

It's a very long shot but I'm almost at wit's end in trying to find this family.
