Yes, I hesitate to mention my book, CALCOTE FAMILY JOURNEY. But, There it is.
On page 99 I have the information that James Gibson Calcote married Martha Jane Rambo about 1840-they had 7 children that I have found, Malette/Molette Clay is one of them.
The others are:Julia Ann, Sarah Allen, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Dicy, Riddle Napier & Leonidas Alonzo.
In my book I also have an essay written by a descendant of Malette Clay & Thomas McBride.
The man who wrote the essay is Pete Hawthorne, he found out about the book, bought several & has sold many for me.
I am not asking you to buy a copy of my book, I don't have very many copies left. I will be happy to share information with you. Frances
