Sandy, I know your husband will be interested in the fact that he is eligible to become a member of the "Sons of the Republic of Texas".
After Moses & Catherine married in MS, (and lived there several years) they moved 1st to Louisiana, lived there a while, then moved to Texas shortly after the Battle of the Alamo. I know they had a very exciting life in East Texas at so early a time period.
I am sure he knows all of their life story & is proud of them.
