This would appear to be the memorial stone to John's son JAMES CALCOTE (c1780-1838) and his wife MARTHA MIDDLETON CALCOTE (c1790-1844) dedicated in June 1995 at the Calcote Plantation Cemetary near Brookhaven MS. He served in the War of 1812. It is a memorial pillar with an urn atop, rather than a statue.

This Cemetary was established in 1830 to bury John Calcote Sr, but his alleged resting place is a tumbling brick enclosure. (information from Frances Calcote Brite)
