Hi Peter

I would be very interested in a copy of the book on the Calderwoods.....let me know how much and where to send for it. I have been meaning to ask you a my searchings, I keep finding references to "relative of Alexander Calderwood". What Alexander are they refering to? Most of my ancestors seem to be related to him. He must have been a real busy guy because he got around a lot so it seems. You also seem to be a real expert on the Caderwoods as I see your name on a lot of the replys. My mother was a Calderwood and we took her ashes to be burried on the family farm in Canada on Sept. 12 of this would have been on the 11th, but the border was closed for a while so we waited until the next day. I guess this is just chit chat, but I find that it is very comforting to dig into the past instead of watching the news these days.....seeing that life has gone on and on for generations and will continue to do so. Take care..........Cathy
