Hi Nancy,
Do you have any other information on this William Calderwood? My GGGgrandfather was William. He was born in Ireland around 1779. He arrived in the US (New Castle, Penn. )in the late 1700's or early 1800's. I know that his one of his daugthers was born around 1805. His children's names were Nancy, Catherine, Isabella, Hugh, Henry, and Mary Ann. We don't have much else to go on. Wondering if this might be a connection?
Also, I just bought a letter on ebay written by a William Catherwood in 1678! 323 years ago! I'll let you know more about the letter and content when I receive it.
Thanks,
Bob
